I must regretfully announce that I will no longer be able liveblog The Hunchback of Notre Dame tonight. Other duty calls.

I encourage you all to still watch it, however.

UPDATE! It airs 3AM for Central Time, which leads me to believe the Pacific Time listed may be wrong. Warning to West Coasters to check their schedules! Thanks to sadademort for the info!
From #ThePalaceofJustice on deviantART:
Suranespiral informed me that the Disney channel is airing Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame this coming Sunday, May 20th. I thought we would give the heads up so everyone knows to check it out to help boost ratings. Let Disney see how us fans are happy to have it air on TV. Here’s the amusing part tho, it airs in the wee hours. Kind of their subtle way of hiding the dark, adult theme from the kiddos. For Eastern Time: 1:00 amFuckyeahhond edit: According to my local Disney schedule, the Eastern Time is actually 4AM
For Pacific Time: 4:00 am
I am not completely certain of the time in other regions as I got this information off IMDB and my own TV. I don’t want to just guess, so please, check your local listings. I’ve already set my DVR for this so even tho I won’t actually be up at 4 in the morning I’ll at least tape it to help the ratings. And I’ve confirmed this from looking at Disney’s official TV schedule (Note: yes, it is really the morning of Sunday, as in you might end up staying up all night Saturday night)
Guys, can we spread this around? If they get decent ratings, especially at such an obscure hour, then maybe it’ll make them give HoND enough notice for Disney Co. to consider a Diamond release (or - dare I say - a theater re-release!)
GO MY FRIENDS! REBLOG! PREPARE FOR AN ALL-NIGHTER!

Little-hiding-owl has graciously informed me that the movie will be shown at 4 a.m. Eastern time, rather than 1:00 a.m. This seems to have been confusing more people than just myself, but for now I will abide by that. For those who plan on staying up/waking up extremely early to watch this, please be vigilant and look up the time for your specific area. I’d hate to miss it or see other people miss it because of some timing miscommunications.

Hello, all.
I was initially going to apologize for my prolonged absence… but then I remembered that I am far more fabulous than all of you and thus do not need to apologize for anything because I am flawless.

I return bearing news of the most fashionable caliber. This coming Sunday, the 20th of May, The Hunchback of Notre Dame will be airing on the Disney channel. This is exceedingly splendid news, because until now they have refrained from showing this movie on television. I suspect that my impeccably sassy nature was far too fierce for them to handle, and so they assumed that children would also not be fit to view my swagger. This is highly erroneous and tacky reasoning, and I am pleased that they are finally taking the opportunity to show the world how classy of a film The Hunchback of Notre Dame truly is.
It will be premiering at 1:00 a.m. Eastern Pacific Time, and 4:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
I recognize that these are inconveniently late times, and I confess to being appalled that they would present this movie at a time of the evening in which most people will be too busy sleeping to see it…

Because of this, I will add further incentive for you minions to stave off your exhaustion long enough to view the movie in all of its glory, and thus boost its ratings enough so that they might actually consider showing it at more fitting hours in the future.
I will be personally liveblogging this historical event. I will be posting a plethora of sassy remarks, answering questions, adding new entries to the meme, critiquing Esmeralda’s fashion choices, recalling the more iconic moments of the movie from a personal and fabulous standpoint, and more. I can assure you that it will be the most stylish event since the invention of trusses, and it will be well worth staying up for~
I sincerely hope you’ll all join me for the festivities this coming Sunday, lest you all perish in hellfire.

Today is the sixth of January, which means that it is once again the most unfabulous day of the year for me- Topsy Turvy Day.

Regardless, I hope all you heathens have a most undapper time at the Feast of Fools today~
liarliarplants-for-hire asked: Do you think I could ever become as fabulous as you?
Have you ever selflessly raised a fashionista hunchback in a belltower for two decades? Ever served as not only a pious judge, minister, and father figure, but also garnered a fierce reputation as the most fashionable man in all of France? Ever fervently fought against the tacky hoarde of Parisian gypsies for over twenty years? Ever sought out a stylish gypsy witch until you burned the entirety of Paris to the ground just to bring her to justice? Ever sang the most enthralling and fabulous song ever recorded in the history of Disney movies to your fireplace?
If so, then possibly. If not, then clearly, you have a lot of work to do.
